Nicole Palmore, MSW ▾
Nicole K. Palmore, MSW, is executive director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Administration and Finance at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), where she assesses, designs, and develops initiatives to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) holistically.

Prior to this role, Palmore was the director of diversity and inclusion at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Palmore has exceptional facilitation and course design skills and has designed, developed, and delivered hundreds of courses in the areas of DEI, leadership development, and change management. 

Palmore holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgetown University and a Master of Social Work from UMB. She completed a master’s certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a second master’s certificate in Intercultural Leadership at UMB. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation in Higher Education Leadership at Frostburg State University.
