At this time, Town Halls and Focus Groups regarding the future of the UM shuttle have concluded. We appreciate everyone's attendance and look forward to your feedback. A final decision on the shuttle should be reached by May 15 and will be communicated Universitywide at that time.
Know what to do in the event of an emergency garage closure BEFORE you come to campus.
During an emergency — such as winter weather, a hurricane, civil unrest, or a power outage — all 24-hour campus garages will remain open. However, non-24-hour garages will close and parkers will need to park in specific garages.
Anyone who has a parking access card will see the garage gates automatically rise when pulling up to the ticket dispenser and exit card reader. This is the result of the new LPR system that identifies your vehicle based on your license plate number(s) on file.
Those who park in Plaza Garage should note that the garage will be undergoing significant modernization efforts in 2018 to provide three functional elevators. Please be aware of changes impacting foot traffic and restricted parking in posted construction zones.
Renovations began on the Baltimore Grand Garage on May 21. There is a reduction in available parking spots. And parkers may be directed to another garage.
