Updated Aprill 1, 2020

Effective Wednesday, March 25, the following parking facilities will be closed until further notice:

  • The Administration Lot
  • Pearl Garage
  • Saratoga Garage
  • Lexington Rooftop

Effective Monday, April 6, the Penn Street garage will closed until further notice. This closure would allow for essential resources to be reallocated for other usages.

Temporarily, those parkers may park in Pratt, Grand, or Lexington Street garages. All parkers are required to use their parking credentials when entering and exiting the garages. Refer to umaryland.edu/parking/parking-at-umb/parking-garages/ for garage hours and information. If garage operations change or additional closures take place, you will be notified accordingly.

Beginning Monday, April 6, all open UMB garages will be set at a flat rate of $9 per day for visitors, patients, and patient transporters until further notice. Vouchers will still be accepted and staff “pay daily rate” will remain the same.

UMB Parking Goes Green

“Our intention was...contributing to sustainable goals by reducing our carbon footprint, and honestly, making it easier for the staff to perform tasks driving a smaller energy-efficient vehicle through the facilities,“ says Brian Simmons, assistant director of PTS.

It's Time to Plan!

Know what to do in the event of an emergency garage closure BEFORE you come to campus.

During an emergency — such as winter weather, a hurricane, civil unrest, or a power outage — all 24-hour campus garages will remain open. However, non-24-hour garages will close and parkers will need to park in specific garages.
