UMBrella is offering one scholarship to attend the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) 2017 Women's Leadership Institute. Held at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island near Jacksonville, FL, this institute is the premier program for university women leaders. The institute features a curriculum with an overall focus on building the next generation of leaders in higher education administration and student affairs.
On May 23, Juliet Dickerson, MS, a director in UMB’s Office of Human Resource Services, became the latest UMBrella success story, completing the five-month Towson University Professional Leadership Program for Women.
This March, the UMBrella group and Human Resources Services have partnered to offer the women of the UMB community the UMBrella Coaching Program.
On March 9, 2017, the UMBrella group celebrated Women's History Month with a speaker panel event featuring women making a difference in the Baltimore community.
