Speaker Series

Core Values

The UMB Core Values Speaker Series promotes the values of Respect and Integrity, Well-Being and Sustainability, Equity and Justice, and Innovation and Discovery. National and international leaders come to UMB to talk about their expertise and experiences to a broad University/communitywide audience. The speaker series also provides an opportunity for the University to come together as one at stimulating cultural events that enhance the environment in which the University works and learns. The President’s Panel on Politics and Policy

The President's Panel on Politics and Policy is a speaker series examining issues important to the UMB community that are likely to be affected by the current presidential administration and Congress. With so much at stake in terms of health and higher education policy, federal budget priorities, and issues of civil rights and social justice, the UMB community is encouraged to take part in these timely conversations.
