The Office of Student Employment is dedicated to assisting students in their pursuit of their educational goals by providing employment resources covering all aspects of University functions: research, administration, technology, recreation/athletics, academic services, and education. Recognizing the unique and intrinsic value of each person, we are committed to serving all in an environment of equality, responsibility, and adherence to the policies of the University.

The Office of Student Employment works with faculty, students, the community, and University departments to foster a responsive, skilled workforce by advocating and facilitating employee engagement and student development. Creating academic term and summer employment opportunities for students, the Office of Student Employment is a resource for job-seeking students and provides resources accessible to enrolled UMB graduate and undergraduate students as well as degree- seeking USM students.

As part of the Office of Student Financial Assistance and Education, we administer the Federal Work Study Program and provide employment opportunities for Non-Federal Work Study students. Students and employers can learn more about each of these programs, submit job descriptions, and find available opportunities for student employment.
