OneDrive for Business

OneDrive for Business allows for easy downloading, uploading, editing, and even sharing of files. It is primarily meant for your personal work files.  While the ability to share files exists, it is recommended to do it sparingly through OneDrive and only for limited time periods.  For more robust, continuous file sharing, it’s strongly recommended to use SharePoint.

A primary reason for this is that when an employee leaves UMB, their OneDrive and all the files in it become inaccessible.  

OneDrive for Business is 5 TB and can be increased up to 10 TB for UMB-related, web-based file storage for faculty, staff, and students. OneDrive is HIPAA and FERPA compliant.

How do I access?

All Office 365 applications can be accessed through the Office 365 Portal at https://portal.office.com.
