The Center for Interprofessional Education advances UMB's vision for preparing all University students to provide high-quality, affordable health care and human services within a team-based model. The center's mission is to prepare health, law, and human services professionals to work collaboratively on interprofessional teams focused on improving the lives of people locally, nationally, and globally.

Please join us on April 3, 2024, from noon to 5 p.m., for UMB's 12th Annual Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day at the Baltimore Convention Center! Lunch will be provided. This year, we're excited to bring together UMB students to engage in collaborative learning and teamwork.

There are two types of registration for IPE Day:

Optional Attendance: Students who are not required to attend but wish to participate can register at the link below by March 15.

Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your understanding of interprofessional collaboration and network with peers and professionals from different fields. Register now and secure your spot!

Student participants in IPE Day discovered:

  • How to effectively communicate with professionals outside your area of study
  • What specialist skills you can share with other professionals
  • How interprofessional communications affect the quality of care
