Damien Keith Myers, M.D., M.P.H.

Myers is the co-founder and chief executive and medical officer of MedReimagined, helping communities create pipelines of the homegrown aspiring medical professionals they need most—so that every community trusts their health providers and believes they can lead the world in health outcomes.

Myers has a demonstrated history of achievement in the social entrepreneurship and education management industries, a background in clinical medicine and public health, and eight years of high school teaching experience in Baltimore, MD. Myers sits on the Board of Directors for Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD, the Advisory Board for the CURE Scholars Program, and the Board of Trustees for the SEED School of Maryland. 

Formerly, Myers served as the Chief Operating Officer for Project Pneuma, the Chief Education Officer for the MERIT Health Leadership Academy, the Founder of the Academy of Future Health Professionals, and the Director of Engagement for BMe Community.

Myers attended Morehouse College for his undergraduate education and received his M.P.H. from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also received his M.D. from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He has received multiple awards for his work including the Medi Medical Neighborhood Forums Elijah Saunders, M.D. Trailblazer Award, the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award, the BMe Community Genius Award, and the City of Baltimore’s “Top Neighborhood Dad” Award. 

Myers has served on the UMBF Board of Trustees since 2019 and has chaired the Community Engagement Committee since 2022.
