Canuel is the managing director and market team lead for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, which focuses exclusively on serving high net worth customers with an array of banking and wealth management services. Canuel is a principal with RPB Properties, LLC, a family-owned real estate company founded in 2015 by brothers Scott and Brian Canuel. The company specializes in renovating properties for families and improving neighborhoods, and maintains a portfolio of rental properties. 

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Canuel served as the national managing director, practice executive for client strategy as part of the wealth management division of PNC. In this role, he focused on creating the strategy, process, and tools used by wealth managers. Previously, Canuel was one of the firm’s wealth management directors and the firm’s business development director.

Canuel is a graduate of Towson University and received his master’s in finance from Loyola College in Maryland. He has served as the chairman of the board at Mount Saint Joseph High School and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House of Maryland. In his personal time, he enjoys lacrosse, scuba diving, and traveling with his family. 

He has served on the Board of Trustees since 2019.
