Haley Smith

Haley Smith is a BSN student at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing and will graduate in May of 2024. In May of 2022, she earned a B.S. in Health Sciences with a minor in Chronic Illness at James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Currently, Haley works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at an outpatient pediatric practice. Haley also serves as the Public Relations chair for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and has recently joined the USGA Policy Advocacy committee. As a Senator representing the School of Nursing, Haley hopes to be a voice for those in her program. She aims to use this position to help support inclusivity and student wellness efforts. When Haley is not busy studying, she enjoys sporting events, self-care, and being active with her puppy, Oakley.
