Lucy is a second-year medical student in the class of 2022. She graduated in 2017 from University of Maryland College Park with a major in biological sciences. During her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time outdoors with friends and family. She has enjoyed being a senator this past year and looks forward to serving as a USGA senator again in the 2019-2020 school year.

Madeleine Purcell

Maddie is a first-year medical student in the Class of 2023. She graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2019 with a Biology Major and Chemistry Minor. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and working out. Maddie is looking forward to representing the medical school as a USGA senator.

Hannah Smith

Hannah is a second-year medical school student in the class of 2022. She graduated from the University of Alabama in May of 2017 with majors in Biology and Anthropology. She then completed her Master’s in Medical Anthropology before coming to UMSOM. Outside of school, Hannah enjoys running, baking, taking care of her hedgehog, and exploring Baltimore. She is excited to be a part of USGA Senate and hopes to be able to help facilitate communication and cooperation between the Medical School and the other 6 programs here on campus!

Jocelyn Wu

Jocelyn is a first-year medical student in the Class of 2023. She graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a degree in Cognitive Science and Linguistics. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, doing yoga, and food. Jocelyn is looking forward to representing the medical school as a USGA senator.
