The table below identifies the RTF focus area status of each recommendation or decision followed by a membership roster including the primary and deputy focus area leader. The following initiatives have been approved by senior leadership to move forward as part of the COVID-19 Recovery process.

Establish a vaccination clinic

  • Establish a vaccination clinic in the health suite at the new Community Engagement Center that would provide the vaccinations required for children in kindergarten, pre-K, and entering seventh-graders as they prepare for each new school year.
  • Clinic would run for about four weeks – late August to mid-September.
  • Clinic would be open to all children of these school ages from throughout West Baltimore and particularly target schools from the Southwest Partnership area up to Promise Heights.
  • Clinic would partner with the Baltimore City Health Department, which would provide vaccines and coordinate recordkeeping.
  • BCPS and principals and community school coordinators would provide support and communications.
