Quantum Human Capital Management (QHCM) Project Timeline Extension
Project Timeline Extension
The QHCM Project timeline has been extended, which will directly affect the system’s go-live date. The new go-live date for Quantum One will be February 2, 2026. The primary factor that led to this decision was a recent configuration change that will ultimately lead to improved user experience. This change impacted the availability of the system environments for user testing and familiarization.
Benefits of the Extension
The QHCM Project Team heard our users’ concerns and are confident that this timeline extension will:
- Allow the QHCM Project team time to provision an environment with the most up-to-date configurations and make it available for a more robust user acceptance testing cycle.
- Provide more time for end user training, to include early training, which is happening now, and refresher or just-in-time training that will be available closer to the new go-live date.
- Offer our testing partners from the UMB Community the opportunity to participate in user acceptance testing after becoming more familiar with the new system functionality by completing their training first.
- Result in more time, as well as a better understanding of how to strategically plan for future state business operations across departments.
This timeline extension will change the cutover deadlines that were announced previously. Those deadlines are no longer valid. Look for more information and updated deadlines soon.
