After Hours Crisis Support Service: 410-328-8404, option 7

During business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm), we encourage you to reach out to the Student Counseling Center (SCC) regarding any mental health concerns about yourself or others (410-328-8404). Please inform the administrative assistant if you are experiencing a crisis situation and need immediate assistance from a counselor. Outside of business hours, you may call our After Hours services (410-328-8404 and press 7) to speak with a counselor. You may also call after hours crisis line if you are concerned about a UMB student.

If you are experiencing a life threatening mental health emergency, call 988. You can also contact Baltimore City Crisis Response (410-433-5175) or Baltimore County Crisis Response (410-931-2214). For non-emergencies call UMB police (410-706-6882).

Student and Employee Health provides 24/7 after-hours on-call backup to the Student Counseling Center. Calls are received by Family Medicine attending physicians who advise and triage. Walk-in hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
