Crisis Care Resources

Crisis Support Service: 410-328-8404, option 7

Due to the need to tele-work, the Student Counseling Center is currently unable to pick up the phone directly. We respond to all messages within one business day. However, if you need immediate assistance (such as experiencing a crisis situation), please use our Crisis Support Service at 410-328-8404, option 7. This service is available 24/7/365 (including holidays). Please note that this is not an emergency line but is available should you need to speak with a counselor immediately over the phone. For more information on what constitutes a crisis or an emergency, please click here. If you are unsure about the severity of a situation, please call to consult with a clinician.

If you are experiencing a life threatening mental health emergency, please call 911 or UMB police (410-706-3333). You can also contact Baltimore City Crisis Response (410-433-5157) or Baltimore County Crisis Response (410-931-2214). Other counties are listed below.
