Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) is currently developing a comprehensive Research Security Program to protect research and development at UMB. The program will be in alignment with the National Security Presidential Memorandum-33 (NSPM-33).
UMB’s Research Security Program Services will include:
- Risk assessments and mitigation
- Proposal and award review of sponsored projects
- Outreach and guidance
- Training resources
Purpose and Goals: The program and its services are designed to maintain research integrity, ensure adherence to federal regulations, and safeguard against undue foreign influence and the misappropriation of research and development.
