Lexington St. Garage new student parking registration begins Jan 2, 2023 .

See below for more information on applying or renewing student parking permits.
All students must have a hangtag permit displayed while parking on campus.

If you have a commuting student permit, you must park at Lexington Street Garage, located at 660 W. Lexington St., at the corner of Pine and Lexington streets.

  • Student parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Parking and Transportation Services does not guarantee parking spaces.
  • Commuting student permits are for use while students are attending classes, not for overnight parking.
  • Daily rates start at 2:55 a.m.
  • Lost ticket fees are applied to the maximum posted garage rate.

Failure to follow these procedures could result in a loss of parking privileges.

To Register for Student Commuter Parking at Lexington Garage (new or returning students who have never registered for parking)

For new students or those who have never registered for parking on campus:

  • You must register online. The cost of the permit is $5.
  • If you are not in the system, please do not create an account. Contact the cashier’s office 410-706-5518
  • Then make an appointment online using this link - https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/UMBParkingCashiers@umbcits.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/
    • You must wait at least 24 hours after registration before you can make your appointment.
  • Show your appointment to the security guard at the SMC Center (621 W. Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201)
  • Bring your UMB One Card to pick up your permit and link your One Card to the parking system.

Returning students who previously had parking on campus, you must renew online.

Registered parkers have access to all UMB garages after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Cars must be out of the weekend garage by 9 a.m. Monday morning.

Note: Student parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Student permits are for use while students are attending classes. Storage of vehicles is prohibited. Students may only possess one parking permit at a time.

Instructions on how to register online

  • Click on Get Permits.
  • Click on Affiliated Login. This will redirect you to the UMB login page. You will need your UMB login and password.
  • Verify all account information on main page. This is the information that the University has on file for you.
  • Click on Permits. This is where to renew your permit.
  • Click get permits.
  • Purchase a permit.
  • Click next.
  • Select the type of permit you wish to receive.
  • Agree to all the rules and regulations stated.
  • Click next.
  • Verify the information on your vehicle; add a vehicle here if needed.
  • Click next.
  • Click next.
  • Returning students, you will not have a delivery option because you already have your permit.
  • New students
  • Select a delivery option. All permits are to be picked up at Lexington Street Garage for this question
  • Click next.
  • View Cart.
  • Check out.
  • Verify email address for receipt.
  • Pay Now by entering Billing Information (mailing address associated with credit card) and Payment Information (actual credit card information).
  • Review.
  • Click Pay.

You will need bring your UMB One Card with you for linking to the garage and for permit pick-up.

After you have registered for parking, make your appointment.

Commuter Parking Options

Commuter students may choose other parking options through the University. Parking discounts are only available for registered students with permits; unregistered student parkers will pay regular garage visitor rates.
