URecFit and Wellness is one of the largest employers on campus. Each year, more than 100 students are hired to staff facilities and oversee aquatics, fitness, intramural, sports, wellness and youth programs.
While a majority of our positions are work-study-funded, we do hire some part-time student and non-student help. We seek enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working in a customer service-centered atmosphere. All applicants, work-study or non-work-study, must complete a URecFit and Wellness application. The application does not guarantee employment. This application is for internal screening only. All non-student applicants will also have to complete an official UMB employment application as well pass a background check and reference screening. Any jobs involving the care, custody and control of a minor will require a background check and FBI fingerprinting.
Pay rates range from $15.00 to $44.56 per hour depending on the job, experience, and certification requirements.
