Facility Supervisor 

Job Description

  • Supervise other part time staff positions during opening, closing and weekend shifts.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive facility for staff and patrons.
  • Maintain ongoing crisis management of all emergency action plans and risk reduction procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge; follows and enforces staffing policies, facility rules and procedures.
  • Provides spot coverage when needed.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the department when diffusing customer conflicts, and issues.
  • Assists with set up and tear down of special events, programs and services in the facility and around campus.
  • Provide first aid and emergency help and report all injuries or problems.
  • Attend all in service trainings and meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • CPR, AED and First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Pay Rate

  • $15.28 to $16.00 per hour

Frontline Operations - Fitness Assistant 

Job Description

  • Supervise and assist with daily operations of the fitness desk and strength and conditioning room.
  • Maintain and monitor for compliance of all fitness rules, policies and regulations.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide group and one-on-one fitness equipment orientations.
  • Complete all assignments required during shifts and record participation counts.
  • Refer all injury related, nutrition and eating disorder questions to professional staff.
  • Complete clerical paperwork for any programs or services.

Lifeguard 

Job Description

  • Maintains constant watch of patrons in the pool and enforces all safety standards.
  • Acts immediately and appropriately to ensure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
  • Inspects facility and equipment regularly and reports issues.
  • Performs various maintenance and custodial duties as assigned.
  • Performs facility checks in the locker rooms, on the pool deck and other areas adjacent to the pool.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Attend all in service trainings and meetings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current lifeguard certification by a nationally recognized agency (American Red Cross, YMCA, etc.) or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Complete a 100 yard untimed swim test, 2 minute treading and brick retrieval with 20 yard swim.

Job Description

  • Receive and direct incoming calls and visitors.
  • Respond politely and promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Provide tours of the facility.
  • Validate ID cards and facility access at the check in desk.
  • Maintain membership services including towel service, laundry, registrations and membership renewals.
  • Operates a point of sale register.
  • Process membership information, class registration, and perform general clerical, maintenance and custodial duties.
  • Maintains a clean and safe facility.

Job Description

  • Conduct research and benchmarking to maintain a relevant and time sensitive wellness website
  • Develop the framework of virtual tours for lactation and relaxation space
  • Assist with marketing including but not limited to website updates, social media and document development

  • Responsible for instructing all swim lesson and or aquatic fitness participants.

  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
  • Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
