Catrina Livingston
Catrina Livingston needed a job. "This one popped up on a job search," she says. Twenty years later, the security officer is still serving the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) community.
"I enjoy interacting with the students, staff, and visitors," she says. Of her 20 years with the department, Livingston has spent 16 years working at the SMC Campus Center, including during construction, the grand opening, and today.
Livingston enjoys going to church and being in fellowship with others. She encourages new students to "pray, smile, put God first, and everything else will fall into place."
The security officer describes herself as a quiet person, "but also one of the funniest once I get started."
