Technical – IT Production Control FWS Position
The Operations & Maintenance Administration at University of Maryland, Baltimore is looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented students for a paid federal work-study position to support technical and IT related infrastructure. The Operations & Maintenance student employee will assist in data entry & analysis, report and dashboard development, software testing, technical troubleshooting and device deployment and management. The primary focus is on utilizing Work Management Systems, reporting tools (such as Power BI), as well as device configuration and deployment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform basic data entry tasks across university systems.
- Support data cleaning and formatting efforts.
- Assist with building dynamic reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, BIRT, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Help test software updates and complete basic maintenance tasks within the campus work management systems.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support to campus users and help document system processes.
- Configure, deploy, and track departmental iPads.
