Guidance for Outgoing Subaward Modification Requests
When you enter a subaward request for a modification to an existing agreement, an important question you will answer is the Modification Type. It is a dropdown field with the following choices:
- Carry Forward
- Continuation
- Increment
- Initial/New
- No Cost Extension
- Other (describe)
Select the MAIN purpose of the modification. For example, if you are submitting a request for a continuation, but there is also a change of Subrecipient PI, select Continuation. There will be another opportunity in the form to add other changes.
