Richard Armiger is a senior vice president and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, bringing more than three decades of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and nonprofit organizations. His practice focuses on comprehensive wealth management, exit planning, and long-term financial strategy, with particular expertise supporting leaders in the health care and nonprofit sectors. He began his career in 1995 as an investment advisor with Alex. Brown & Sons in Annapolis, Md., and joined Morgan Stanley in 2002.
Beyond his professional work, Mr. Armiger is deeply engaged in community and philanthropic leadership. He is co-founder of the Ironheart Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting cardiac care and research. He also is a founding member, former chair, and active member of the University of Maryland Golisano Children’s Hospital Board and serves on the University of Maryland Medicine Foundation’s Board of Directors.
A Baltimore native, Mr. Armiger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and is an accomplished Ironman triathlete, having competed in endurance events around the world — a reflection of his personal commitment to discipline, resilience, and service.
