Chair Yoga

Art & Maker Programs
The Steve and Mim Dubin Makerspace provides free access to maker education, tools, and resources for the community, creating opportunities for learning and connection. Join us every week or once in a while to learn a new skill, get support from other makers, and create your own products. Equipment includes 3D printers, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, and more.

Looking for help finding a job or job training? We help job seekers get on the right track. Receive one-on-one guidance about job resources in the area, résumé writing, and applications. Consult with our team, including a Southwest Works representative and volunteers from UMB’s Human Resources office.

Community Dinner
Enjoy a delicious meal from a local vendor, catch up with neighbors, make new friends, and learn about the opportunities offered by the Office of Community and Civic Engagement and the BioPark. Computer and Technology Support
Computer Lab
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The computer lab provides computer use and limited printing and faxing services to community members at no cost. Please note the open days and times depend on if programming is happening in the computer lab. If possible, please call ahead to confirm if the lab is available. Youth (17 and under) must be supervised by an adult to use the lab.

The CEC health suite offers programs to support neighbors with health and social needs. Examples of services include:
- Conducting health assessments and screenings to link neighbors to providers
- Assisting neighbors with health care navigation and coordination
- Providing health education and coaching
- Connecting neighbors to resources that can help with health and social needs
Grocery Giveaway, an initiative of the Health Suite
3rd Wednesdays, 10 to 11 a.m.
Choose from a bag of seasonal produce or a simple meal kit for 4 from our local grocery partner, complete with instructions for a healthy meal. Medical professionals are available on-site to connect you with resources to manage your health. Learn more here. -
The JustAdvice Project

CASH Campaign of MarylandHoused in the CEC, the CASH Campaign of Maryland provides financial wellness services such as free tax preparation, financial education, and benefits screenings.
- Benefits Screenings: Fast and confidential screenings for 22 benefit programs such as energy assistance, medication, phones, food, and more.
- Financial Coaching: Ongoing support by phone or video. Achieve short-term goals such as budgeting, building credit, and paying off debt.

United Way of Central Maryland
Housed in the CEC, United Way of Central Maryland provides services to support those who need to be connected to resources. These services are undergoing enhancements. Check back soon for updates!
