What's Included in Tuition and Fees?
Your student bill reflects direct costs. These are mandatory charges billed to you each term. Direct costs typically include:
Tuition based on your program, credit hours, and residency status- Mandatory University Fees (for most on-campus programs), including:
- Campus fees (technology fee, Student Government Association fee, UMB shuttle fee, student activities fee, student services fee, Campus Center infrastructure fee)
- Matriculation fee (for incoming students)
- Student accident insurance fee
- Student Health Insurance (charged to all full-time students unless proof of comparable coverage is provided; waivable through Student Health Insurance)
- Mandatory Program Fees (varies by program)
