Robertha Simpson, MBA, is a director in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Simpson has been employed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) for over 19 years. She received a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Maryland University College, and a BS degree from the University of Baltimore.

In the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development, she provides financial and administrative leadership for all aspects of the office. She has been a UMB CURE Scholars mentor from the inception of the program and enjoys the mentoring relationships that have been developed. She was awarded the UMB Community Service Award in March 2018.
