Security officer Cassandra Fleming loves being a part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Police and Public Safety team. 

Fleming joined the department five months ago. “I love working with and helping people,” she says.

You may see the security officer behind the wheel of your next Safe Ride. Fleming takes pride in providing service excellence to the UMB community. “I keep a smile on my face and I stay positive,” she says. “UMB is a great University with nice people who are always willing to help each other.”

In the future, Fleming hopes to continue working in the department and to one day retire. She describes herself as an honest person who enjoys spending time with family.
