Recommended travel deferrals due to conflict
Effective October 11, 2023
International Operations recommends against all travel to Israel and Lebanon and against non-essential travel to Egypt and Jordan. Travel to other regional destinations in the Gulf and North Africa may proceed. Travelers should consult with International Operations departure before for an update on security conditions at their destination country. These are precautionary measures due to the potential for a worsening regional security situation following the October 7 attack on Israeli targets by Hamas militants.
