Office of the Fire Marshal
The UMB Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) is responsible for developing and managing programs that keep our UMB community safe from fire. OFM acts on behalf of the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, serving as the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and building code official for UMB. OFM is a part of UMB Police and Public Safety.
