Fire extinguisher training consists of a short presentation about the science of fire, the different types of fires and fire extinguishers, and how to properly use a fire extinguisher. Attendees then receive hand-on practice with a fire extinguisher simulator.

Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will receive a digital micro-credential. This training is part of the Preparedness Pro digital micro-credential. 

UMB students and employees can sign up to attend training using the form below. All courses are limited to 20 attendees and will take place at 100 North Greene Street (entrance on West Fayette Street).
