AI at UMB

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is dedicated to fostering an environment where innovative and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies create new opportunities in research and education.  To take on this task, an AI Ideation Steering Committee, chaired by Provost Dr. Ward, and an AI Task Force have been established to develop an AI Governance policy and framework, identify AI priority investments, and oversee projects that ensure the safe and ethical use of AI at UMB.
