The Center for Interprofessional Education (CIPE) offers a variety of funding opportunities to enhance the development of IPE initiatives.
Seed Grants are available for 13-month IPE and IPC pilot projects. Each team must include faculty from at least two or more disciplines and focus on educational and evaluative components that involve practice or classroom participation.
IPE Faculty Awards
IPE Faculty Awards are offered every other month.
The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) will be hosting faculty teams during the 2017 Institutes.
The goal of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) is to prepare future health professionals (dentistry, nursing, medicine, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, and public health) for enhanced team-based care of patients. The Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice: 2016 Update was created to guide curriculum development across health professions schools.
