All UMB parkers, LPR (License Plate Recognition) is installed in Plaza Garage. Your license plate is your new gate card for access.
This affects daily Plaza Garage parkers and any registered car that enters the garage after 4 p.m. and on weekends.

The Plaza Garage will be undergoing significant modernization efforts in 2018 in order to provide three functional elevators. Please be aware of changes impacting foot traffic and restricted parking in posted construction zones.

Know what to do in the event of an emergency garage closure BEFORE you come to campus.
During an emergency — such as winter weather, a hurricane, civil unrest, or a power outage — all 24-hour campus garages will remain open. However, non-24-hour garages will close and parkers will need to park in specific garages.
Anyone who has a parking access card will see the garage gates automatically rise when pulling up to the ticket dispenser and exit card reader. This is the result of the new LPR system that identifies your vehicle based on your license plate number(s) on file.

Renovations will begin on the Baltimore Grand Garage on Monday, May 21. There will be a reduction in available parking spots. And parkers may be directed to another garage
