On Feb. 27, 2018, Ambassador Susan G. Esserman, JD, shared insights into the hidden world of human trafficking in which brave victims have come forward for assistance from the University of Maryland Support, Advocacy, Freedom, and Empowerment (SAFE) Center for Human Trafficking Survivors.
On May 23, 2017, Juliet Dickerson, MS, a director in UMB’s Office of Human Resource Services, became the latest UMBrella success story, completing the five-month Towson University Professional Leadership Program for Women.
In March 2017, the UMBrella Group and Human Resource Services partnered to offer the women of the UMB community the UMBrella Coaching Program.
On March 9, 2017, the UMBrella Group celebrated Women's History Month with a speaker panel event featuring women making a difference in the Baltimore community.
