School of Nursing Banner Reports Pilot

Completed - 8-31-2023

Assist the School of Nursing with developing new reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for Banner data. Teach report writers how to create their own reports in OAC.

Move analog phone lines to VoIP

Completed - 9-30-2023

Move analog lines to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) where applicable in order to reduce costs.

New Portal for Veterinarian Resources (Cayuse)

Completed - 10-1-2023

Create a new online, cloud-based portal for veterinarian resources for the School of Medicine.

Tripwire retirement/replacement

Completed - 10-27-2023

Replaced the cyber security product, X, with a new product, Y.

Migrating Smart File to a SaaS solution (discovery/analysis)

Completed - 12-18-2023

Identify requirements and research replacement for SmartFile, an application used for online forms.

Windows 2012 Elimination

Completed - 12-22-2023

Microsoft is sunsetting Windows Server 2012. For servers using this operating system, we will either upgrade, migrate to the cloud, or retire the server, as applicable.

Voice Expressway Servers Replace

Worked with Cisco to replace our Voice Expressway servers

Student Reporting for Multiple Schools

Completed - 1-31-2024

Assisted Bursar's office and Registrar’s office to migrating legacy reports to and developing new reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud for student data.

VMWare Cluster Consolidation/Modernization

Completed - 3-8-2024

Deployed and configured a VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus 8.0 vSphere cluster to further centralize IT services, improve baseline security, and help other departments make all applications and data hosted on-premises more secure and more available.

Replace Edge Routers
