Mr. Buckingham is responsible for management of the Information Technology and Facilities Management Office for the School of Dentistry.  He is also the School of Dentistry’s HIPAA and Security Officer. He has been part of the senior leadership team in the School of Dentistry since 2007.  Where his teams provide support to the largest provider of dental care in Maryland and first Dental College in the World. 

Mr. Buckingham joined the University in 1988 and has over 33 years in the information technology field.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UMBC and Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from UMUC.
