Physical Wellness is the ability to apply your knowledge, motivation, commitment, behavior, self management, attitude, and skills toward achieving your personal fitness and health goals. Physical wellness is more than just the absence of disease. The physical dimension of wellness is concerned with building a healthy, strong, and resilient body. Such a body receives proper nutrition, sleep, and activity while being protected from disease and injury. As a result, you are more physically fit and energetic, have a strong immune system, and are primed for longevity. Physical wellness is protective against the stress and demands encountered in graduate and professional school.

Below are some UMB, Local, and National physical wellness resources.
