Dear UMBrella Group,

This conference was a call to action for taking leadership in my community and university and for taking my career to the next level. It was so inspiring to be surrounded by women leading in companies, movements, and politics throughout the world. The workshops ranged from self-confidence to starting your own business to starting a career in politics. During the career fair, I met representatives from companies I would not normally have the opportunity to interact with or learn about their hiring processes. I made connections with peers from different states, and in a worksop I learned that they are just as important to my network as the presenters of the workshops. I am looking forward to staying involved and connected with this organization for years to come.
