• Campus Involvement Fair

    Each September, over 50 student orgs, campus departments, and local non-profits gather on the School of Nursing lawn to help students find their place outside of the classroom.

    Celebrate the start of the academic year with a week of free food, new friends, and campus resources.

  • Learning Institute

    The Learning Institute offers free micro-courses for UMB students, staff, and faculty. Completing a course earns a digital micro-credential and open badge, showcasing professional achievements and skills.

  • PSLI

    The President's Student Leadership Institute (PSLI) is a co-curricular program that offers interprofessional workshops on UMB’s core values, helping students refine their leadership skills and align with UMB's mission of public service.

  • President's Symposium and White Paper Project

    Each year, an interdisciplinary group of students (known as President’s Fellows) is selected to participate in a mentored fellowship while researching, developing, and writing recommendations surrounding an issue that impacts the UMB community.

  • Student Service Fair

    Held every spring and fall, this fair helps students learn how you can make a difference, meet local organizations, and discover ways to get involved and give back.

    We support 10+ registered university-wide student organizations on campus.

    This initiative encourages students to register to vote, cast their ballots, and volunteer to help others vote.

    Students are encouraged to express special interests in service opportunities, discuss the means of service, and get connected with community partners and non-profit organizations

Report an Incident

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) holds Respect and Integrity, Well-Being and Sustainability, Equity and Justice, and Innovation and Discovery as our shared core values. Any violation of a community member’s civil rights is destructive to and contradicts our core values. 

Any member of the University community can make a civil rights report.

Examples may include defacement of posters or signs, comments or messages, jokes or humor, vandalism to personal or university property, deliberate exclusion from activities, or similar acts.
