What’s something you’ve accomplished on the Staff Senate during your time as a Senator?
As a long-service employee, when I returned to our university at the end of 2018, the staff senate celebrated its 25th anniversary. I was curious about what this organization was and what kind of help it could provide staff. So, I joined the election. I remember clearly that year was the year with the most votes ever. This is my last year in this position. Over the past five years, I have participated in all different committees and learned about the functions of all committees. Not only did I bring the voices of staff to our senate, but I also brought the voices of our senate to the council of our university system (CUSS).
What’s a fun vacation that you’ve taken or would like to take?
I turned 60 at the end of August this year. I went to Rome, Italy, fulfilling my childhood dream. I was not disappointed. It is an ancient and beautiful country, and I think I will go there again.
What’s your most prized possession and why?
For me, the most precious possession is a pure soul and a big stage to devote my true feelings and love to every corner that needs help.
What’s the theme song to your life?
Live sincerely. No matter what stage of life you go through or what setbacks you encounter, you must have the ability to be happy and have a feeling of happiness.
