What’s something you’ve accomplished on the Staff Senate during your time as a Senator?
I have enjoyed participating on the Board of Regents Staff Awards Committee. It is great to be a part of positive encouragement for staff to be recognized. I hope to continue to connect with colleagues across campus.
What’s a fun vacation that you’ve taken or would like to take?
My family visited Guadaloupe, the French island in the Caribbean.
It was like visiting Europe in a tropical environment with great scuba diving. Exploring the island and the Jacque Cousteau Underwater Reserve, along with visiting the film set of “Death in Paradise,” a Britbox series, was fun.
What’s your most prized possession and why?
I would consider my scrapbooks my prized possessions. I have scrapbooked for nearly twenty years. The memories in those books cannot be replaced. My family enjoys looking at the things we have done and places we visited, and it allows us to relive those happy times.
What’s the theme song to your life?
"Don’t Stop Believin'" by Journey would be my life theme song. There will be some wins and some losses, but life will go on.
