As Communications Officer, Amanda chairs the senate’s Communications Committee, contributes to The Elm, and serves on the UMB Communications Council. She is responsible for the development, management, and execution of all Staff Senate communications and oversees Staff Senate social media accounts.
Amanda serves as the Office Manager for Student Services at Francis King Carey Law. Parallel to her professional career, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, focusing on workplace dynamics, change management, and employee well-being. When she is not working or studying, she stays active through her fitness routine and enjoys relaxing with a good book. She also has a creative side explored through yarn crafts and a love for traveling.
Amanda is passionate about being a resource to others. In addition to her role as Communications Officer, she serves on the Community Outreach Committee, participating in initiatives to serve the local community.
