MARCH is transforming reproductive healthcare in Maryland. By equipping physicians and advanced practice clinicians across Maryland with the skills, confidence, and support to provide abortion and miscarriage care, the program is expanding access to rural Maryland where it’s needed the most.

The UMB MARCH Program has expanded access to high-quality abortion and miscarriage care across Maryland by building a robust, statewide training network for physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Through strategic partnerships and innovative training models, MARCH has strengthened the clinical workforce, increased geographic equity in care, and advanced evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive health services. Its impact extends beyond training—shaping a more resilient, skilled, and connected system of care.
