Jessica Lee, MD, MPH

Jessica Lee, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Lee received her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Magee-Womens Hospital. She completed a fellowship in family planning at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as well as a master’s in public health with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
She is the director of the Ryan Training Program at the University of Maryland and works to provide comprehensive residency training in contraception, pregnancy options counseling, and abortion techniques. She is the director of family planning and believes all women deserve access to and support for comprehensive reproductive health care.
She is active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has held several leadership positions within the organization.
Her areas of research and clinical interest involve pain management during gynecological procedures, emergency contraception, and contraceptive counseling.
