The Launch Your Life (LYL) Well-Being Program offers a variety of workshops, classes, and experiences designed to support faculty and staff well-being. Departments may request customized programming to enhance engagement, reduce stress, and promote a culture of health across teams.

Available Well-Being Services
Education & Engagement
Well-being Program Overview Session (30–60 minutes): $200-350
An interactive session introducing UMB’s whole-person approach to well-being. Through guided discussion and reflection, participants explore key dimensions of well-being—including mental, physical, financial, social, and environmental—and identify practical strategies to support well-being at work and beyond.
Well-being Workshop (30–60 minutes): $200–$350
A health education webinar or seminar focused on a specific well-being topic, delivered in an interactive, presentation-style format. Topics are selected from a curated inventory during follow-up and may include healthy eating, fitness, stress management, and other well-being topics. Workshops are designed to build knowledge and support practical application.
Wellness Roundtable (20 minutes): $125
A facilitated group discussion designed to encourage shared experiences and open dialogue around well-being topics in a collaborative setting.
Mind–Body & Reset Sessions
Mindful Moment (15 minutes): $100
A brief guided session focused on mindfulness, meditation, and breathing techniques to support stress reduction and focus.
Desk Reset (15–30 minutes): $100–$150
An interactive session featuring desk-based stretches, movement strategies, and breathing exercises to reduce tension and improve comfort during the workday.
Yoga
Chair Yoga (15–30 minutes): $125–$175
A gentle, accessible yoga session performed seated or with chair support, designed to improve flexibility and reduce muscle tension.
Mat-Based Hatha or Slow Flow Yoga (30–60 minutes): $175–$250
A beginner-friendly yoga session focused on mindful movement, stretching, and relaxation. Suitable for varying experience levels.
Package Options
Quarterly Package (4 sessions/year): $500–$700
A bundled option for departments interested in ongoing well-being programming across multiple months.
Single Event + Follow-Up Package: $300–$450
Includes an initial session followed by a related follow-up session to reinforce learning and engagement.
