Spring 2026

Spring 2026 UMB headcount enrollment is 6,613, a 1.7% increase from 6,505 in Spring 2025.

Compared to Spring 2025, enrollment increased in the Master of Social Work, undergraduate, Master of Nursing, GPLS master’s programs in medicine, and professional doctoral programs in day law and medicine. Enrollment decreased in pharmacy master’s programs, the professional doctoral program in evening law, and research and scholarship doctoral programs in medicine and pharmacy.

The undergraduate Medical and Research Technology program has no enrolled students due to a planned program closure.

International student enrollment is 364, a 10% decrease from 403 in Spring 2025. 

The spring 2026 enrollment file includes 19 intercampus (visiting) students not included in enrollment data reported for the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Winter 2026 

Winter 2026 headcount enrollment was 24, which was the same as winter 2025 term enrollment. Enrollment consisted of coursework for students in the professional PharmD program.
