Integrating Comparative Law Modules to the Immigration Law and Crimmigration Law Courses
Maureen Sweeney

Professor
Maureen plans to add comparative law modules to the Immigration Law and Crimmigration Law courses, to compare how both peer countries and regional neighboring countries address migration to U.S. law and policy. She also plans to create a module for law students on international legal bodies like the IACHR and UN committees on human rights or torture and the possibilities and limitations of these bodies as mechanisms to hold U.S. law accountable to human rights standards.
