Each year, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) celebrates the achievements and successes of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and philanthropic supporters and pays tribute to UMB’s 215-year history with a series of Founders Week events.

Founders Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize our historic achievements, our future possibilities, and the invaluable role that our friends, funders, and community, government, and business partners play in helping UMB fulfill its mission to improve the human condition and serve the public good of Maryland.
