What We Do

In our meetings, we discuss issues we are working on and hear from invited presenters about issues across our campus and community.

The senate is a conduit to hear about issues from campus administrators and leaders and pass them down to the faculty, as well as a conduit to gather information from faculty across campus and pass that up to the administration and campus leaders, so they can use the information to make UMB a better place for everyone.

UMB Faculty Senate Meeting Schedule

Academic Year 2019-2020

We meet monthly during the academic year (September to June) on the third Wednesday of each month* from noon to 1 p.m. in the President’s Boardroom on the 14th floor of the Saratoga Building. No meetings are held in July and August. The schedule and venue are as follows:
