Apply to be a CURE Scholar

 

We are currently accepting applications for West Baltimore students entering 6th-10th grade in the fall. Applications are being accepted until September 22, 2023.

For middle school students, the UMB CURE Scholars Program accepts rising 6th-8th grade students each summer/fall from our three partner schools. (Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School, Green Street Academy, and Southwest Baltimore Charter School). 

Prospective scholars should have an interest in STEM and be committed to participating in a long-term STEM pipeline program through middle school and high school.

If your child will be in 6th-10th grade next fall and would like to become a CURE Scholar, please follow the application steps below.

Application Steps:

  1. The student must fill out our student application.
  2. A parent/guardian will need to complete a parent recommendation form.
  3. A teacher/school administrator will need to complete a recommendation form for the student.
