Required Academic Attire for UMB Students and Faculty
The Seven Scholars University Store, located in the SMC Campus Center, offers official University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) graduation regalia. Please review the information below to ensure that you are properly prepared for your ceremony.
Important: All students and faculty participating in graduation ceremonies are required to wear appropriate academic regalia. Please plan ahead and order your attire by the deadlines listed below.
Faculty Regalia Orders
Rental Orders:
Faculty may rent academic regalia by emailing the bookstore manager, Allanah Cohen, at sm639@bncollege.com.
Please include:
- Height
- Weight
- Degree type (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, etc.)
- Institution where the degree was earned
Order Deadlines
- Ship to Store: April 1
- Ship to Home: April 17
Orders submitted by these dates are guaranteed for on-time delivery. Regalia will be available for pickup at the campus store in early May.
Custom Regalia:
Custom regalia orders require 6 to 8 weeks for production. For pricing and details, contact Allanah Cohen at sm639@bncollege.com.
Student Regalia Orders
Students must purchase regalia online through Oak Hall (ordering link coming soon). No regalia will be available for purchase in the campus store.
