Required Academic Attire for UMB Students and Faculty
The Seven Scholars University Store, located in the SMC Campus Center, offers official University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) graduation regalia. Please review the information below to ensure that you are properly prepared for your ceremony.
Important: All students and faculty participating in graduation ceremonies are required to wear appropriate academic regalia. Please plan ahead and order your attire by the deadlines listed below.
Faculty Regalia Orders
Online Ordering Only
All faculty regalia orders must be placed online at Oak Hall.
Rental Regalia:
- Self-pay faculty: Place rental orders directly through the online ordering site.
- School-paid rentals: Provide order details to your Department Contact.
Required Information:
- Height and weight
- Degree type (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate)
- Field of study
- Institution where degree was earned
- State/Country of institution
Distribution: Regalia will be available for pickup at the Bookstore beginning May 6.
Order deadline: April 1
Custom Regalia:
Custom regalia is made to order and requires 8–12 weeks for production. For pricing and details, contact Allanah Cohen at sm639@bncollege.com.

Students must purchase regalia online through Oak Hall. No regalia will be available for purchase in the campus store.
